Yosemite is quintessential Ansel Adams country. Soaring mountains, tumbling streams and lush valleys carpeted with wild flowers...truly a paradise. The higher reaches have an ethereal charm..particularly Tuolumne Meadows, which is closed for most part of the year. We were the first visitors there and had most of the campsite for ourselves. Couldn't get to spot the bears though!
