Elephantastic!

I love elephants; particularly the gentle, gracious spirit that emanates from them.
Elephants help you to become very aware of your surroundings.
They have a commanding presence.
You can’t help but look and watch their every move.

It was a spectacular moment in Kaziranga when we reached the riverside.

A group of elephants marched majestically across at a distance against the setting sun.
I was transfixed with the sight, till I reluctantly took my camera to fix the image for a future moment.
Watching them is such a tranquil experience.
It’s the breath we humans often need to take, to be allowed the privilege to be in the company of one of planet’s most loving animals.
The experience is more than a simple photograph. It remains etched in the memory to cherish forever.

Brushstrokes of burnt orange seeping into fading light
The evening seductive, warm and dark
Earthy scents tantalize
Bird chimes on the breeze
Sunshine like powdered gold filters through
Elephants, majestic and powerful
Saunter across the river...
A tranquil peace settles in

Great. Rare sight because of the colour and the landscape. Please show the sky even though it may be plain the canopy of the woodland background would outline better and add to the pictures strength in landscape/habitat details

Thanks Manju for the suggestion. I haven't worked on it and posted them as I had 'captured' them!
